Flowmap gave Warehouse Operations Managers a live, visual view of their warehouse operations in one place. Previously, managers relied on static Excel maps, retrospective KPI data and their own operational knowledge, making it difficult to identify emerging bottlenecks or understand their impact before they occurred.

Working with WAER Systems, I translated complex real-time warehouse data into a familiar, Tetris-inspired visual system that surfaced live activity, capacity and alerts without overwhelming users. This enabled managers to spot and anticipate operational issues, plan activities such as cycle counts and seasonal reorganisations, respond to live changes and make more informed decisions aimed at reducing disruption and cost.
